S.p.a. is a modern mill, specialized in the textile ennoblishment
for the fabrics' bleaching, dyeing and finishing activities. In
particular we ennobled fabrics of cotton, linen, viscose, wool,
polyesther, polyammide and relevant mixture for the clothing and
the furnishment.
In parallel to this activity the mill produces and sells fabrics
on its own, addressed to the clothing sector (collection RUGGERO
ROSSI and T'ESSERE).

The
history of Rossi Lorenzo e Figli S.p.a. is characterized by a
continuos engagement and technological progress in the textile
ennoblishment sector, following the market evolutions and the
availabilities of new technologies.

It is on 1924 that Mr. Rossi Lorenzo called "Cleto",
begins his own activity of washer, in Viale della Vittoria in
Villasanta (Milano), where actually has its head office Rossi
Lorenzo e Figli S.p.a.
In
those years the members of many family of this area were washers,
using waters of rivers that were deviated to heap from river Lambro,
to give mouvement to the mills, water the fields and for the washers
activity.
During the 30 years the founder begins to applicate the first
chemical ancient technics for the development of his own activity
that step by step will be transformed in "bleaching in the
pasture-field or sbianca" of yarns and fabrics of linen and
cotton (bleaching in the pastured-fields because the yarns and
the fabrics were hanged out in the fields to be dryed by the sun).

During the 50 years there was a true and big transformation
from artigianal mill to an industrial mill, after having
installed new machineries for the bleaching and the finishing
in half-continuos of the fabrics.
On 1962 the sons Luigi and Mario Rossi took place instead
of their father, and they complete the bleaching with the
fabrics' dyeing.
On 1967 the mill was transformed and industrially amplified
to follow the market exigences, in a period of full economic
boom.

On
1973 enters as part of the mill direction , Mr. Ruggero Rossi,
nephew of the founder, actual administrator of the company.
